Outpatient & Day Services at Farifax

Where Hope and Healing Begins

Are you dealing with anxiety, depression, life transition, loss of pleasure, lack of support, recent grief of loss, work struggles or social activities avoidance? Our Day Services and Outpatient programs are designed to help! Our outpatient services are part of the continuum of care offered for both adults and adolescents. These programs can be used as an alternative to hospitalization. They offer more intensive care than an office visit but don’t require an overnight stay or 24-hour care. Our programs include structured family involvement, medication evaluation, and management by a board-certified psychiatrist.

Our Day Treatment, commonly known as PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program), is a step beyond individual therapy.

PHP is the common abbreviation for the Partial Hospitalization Program. PHP doesn’t actually include being hospitalized, so to be more clear, we’re using the term Day Treatment. If you or a loved one needs more than individual or weekly therapy and wants to build life skills, our outpatient/day treatment program may be the right fit. You’ll learn important skills that will help you reconnect with others and better manage life’s daily activities and schedules.

Attendees are encouraged to participate in their healing process. Groups are facilitated by a Therapist and a Registered Nurse (RN). These groups teach Didactive/Psychoeducation Skills, Self-Soothing and Process/Art. Treatment, Discharge Planning, Medication Education, Communication Styles, Sleep Hygiene and Values and also addressed. The daily focus is on learning, reviewing and practicing coping skills for emotional regulation.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program, commonly known as IOP, is an alternative to hospitalization and doesn’t require 24-hour care.

Our Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program is designed for individuals who are in need of a structured setting in which to work towards overcoming symptoms of mental health, behavioral health and/or substance abuse concerns.
